  • Gaining the competencies to write the proposal through critical thinking and giving guidance on ensuring a quality end product
  • Editing the proposal before submission to the relevant ethics and research committees or grant-holder

Independent rigour

  • Assisting in conducting a pilot study or pilot interview
  • Data analyzing and acting as an independent coder
  • Guidance on own critical reflection of a final submission

Writing

  • Assisting in preparing and critical reviewing an manuscript/article from a project or journal

Project partner

  • Being part of a research project with ethical clearance as a team member with responsibilities

Editing

  • Editing of the final research proposal/project findings before submission.

External quality improvement consultant

  • Conduct a preliminary quality improvement analysis of and report on a unit/department to guide on preparing for an academic internal or external review report or/and visit
  • Assist as a critical reader of a report that is prepared for an internal or external review of an unit/department
  • Assist in drawing up quality assurance actions to improve the outcome of a review
  • Editing a final report as part of the quality improvement process for a review
  • Research Pal assists in quality assurance evaluations of the healthcare academic departments as part of reviewing their functionality to offer quality programs.
